# Decision review worksheet

An original PlaySolitaire editorial aid. These questions organize a review; they are not a validated assessment or a promise of better outcomes.

## Before the result

Decision and date:

1. **What was the goal?** State the priority, constraints and costs you were willing to accept.

2. **What was known at the time?** List facts separately from estimates. Note sources, uncertainties and information you did not have.

3. **What alternatives were available?** Record the real options, your choice and the reason for it. What would have changed your choice?

## After the result

Outcome and date:

4. **What does the result teach you?** Identify any new evidence, ignored constraint, unreliable estimate or assumption to revise. Which information was available earlier, and which became known only later?

Do not treat one result as a complete measure of decision quality. Investigate both successes and failures.
